This is my old truescale Emperor’s Champion. The Calixis Crusade venerates their Emperor’s Champions as living saints. When the great rift opened, the navigators aboard their strike cruiser all perished. So now they plunge in and out of the warp, following the visions of their Emperor’s Champions as they hunt the enemies of the God Emperor. The Armor of Faith worn by the Emperor’s Champion bears the bones of the crusade’s first champion who fell on Valais IV. Each successor carves their name on a golden skull which is embedded int he breastplate when they die. Honestly, why am I still typing? You can read all about this in my lore posts.
